THE HERMIT

During the holidays, The Hermit makes an appropriate calling to introspection and reflection. The last month of the year will be full of social events. Nonetheless, we must make some time for solitude to connect with our inner light. We will discover our own truth and it will become the lamp that lights up the path to be followed, paved with the acquired knowledge. Our past experiences, specially the difficult ones, now become the stepping stones to reach the peak of our lives. The Hermit is not afraid to walk into an uncertain journey. He knows there is no such thing as certainty, thus he relies on the strength of his spirit. We must cultivate our humility, knowing that we can stand out with our own shine. Along the way, we will be letting go of our attachments, the need to feed our ego, of anything that doesn’t make up our essence. Recognition, possessions, success, and others’ approval become irrelevant, unless it comes from ourselves. Use this month to serve others. It’s through service that we recognize ourselves as divine tools. By the end of December, we will not be making a list of resolutions for the new year, but we’ll be designing a plan to materialize those old resolutions that have been postponed year after year. The priority is to bring to conclusion those unresolved issues in our lives. Continue reading
