Tarot Horoscope: September 2018

Interesting enough, the Arcana of the Month is The Hanged Man, since the Sun is in Virgo until September 23, the beginning of autumn. Virgo is known for its abilities to classify, analyze, and edit. She looks at what works and what doesn’t; how can she improve something in order for it to function appropriately. That’s why she pays lots of attention to details. When these traits are taken to an extreme, it can lead to obsessive-compulsive tendencies or perfectionism because she’s afraid of making mistakes. Nonetheless, it is a sign of humility, service, and work. It is through routines and disciplines that stability and success is achieved. It’s important to keep it in balance by not losing sight of the final destination, the purpose. Despite being a very practical sign, Virgo is also very spiritual.

The Hanged Man is an interesting Tarot card because it means that in order to find the answers you are seeking, you must see things and circumstances through a new lens, a new perspective. It also represents sacrifice and restrictions. Virgo is related to this arcana through a keyword: purification.

During the month of September, it will be crucial to innovate, think differently, find solutions where we usually don’t look for them, and eliminating old patterns and beliefs. The Hanged Man is the Tarot card of liberation because knowledge sets you free. Let’s look for unconventional ideas, new ways of thinking, and see life in an innovative way.

Even though sacrifices need to be made in order to achieve our desires, we must not forget what is it that leads us to freedom, to a better world.

On September 9, the New Moon is in Virgo. It is a perfect day to set intentions related to health and work. On September 24, the Full Moon is in Aries, when we’ll feel more active and enthusiastic for new beginning. Be careful not to do things at the last minute. Continue reading

Tarot Horoscope: August 2018

The Emperor is the yan or the masculine side of The Empress, the arcana of the month of July. It is the conqueror, the one who expands horizons. Likewise, it is the ruler of an arid and hostile land full of challenges.

The Emperor is a card ruled by Capricorn. This is the zodiac archetype that talks about reaching our goals, our professional career, and how to face challenges without letting fears stop us.

During the month of August, we must not only set goals but we will work hard, with a lot of discipline and effort towards them. These goals may be related to our profession or to a relationship that we want to develop, but, above all, it has to do with our life purpose.

Capricorn rules the highest point of our natal chart. It is a sign of earth and is what allows us to materialize our dreams, ideas and desires.

This month is ideal to be practical and to work very hard. We have to bear in mind that in August we have an eclipse on the 11th and that we are still going to have Mercury Retrograde. Therefore, particularly in this first half of the month we will be reviewing our plans. It is a moment to reflect and review those aspects that perhaps have not been working out and we have to reconsider them. Perhaps, we must change the plans, maintaining the goals, especially with issues related to creative projects and romance.

We will be thinking about how our talents and interests can serve us to shine and promote those projects that we are working on and that we hope will be carried out successfully later on. In terms of relationships, we will reflect on who our true friends are.

During this month, there may be break-ups in relationships or we may experience an unbalance wherever we are standing. The essential thing to avoid acting impulsively and to know that matters are not going to move with the speed that we want.

The solar eclipse of August 11 in the sign of Leo speaks of our conscious side and how we express and project ourselves to others. Leo expresses joy and fun, but it will shake us if we are not expressing our authenticity creatively. This eclipse is going to bring down things that gave us a false sense of stability and that in turn prevented us from being ourselves. Continue reading

Tarot Horoscope: July 2016

July is the month to administrate well all the projects that were planned or started this year. Now they get form by refining details and how things are done based on experience. These experiences dictate the direction of those plans because now you know better which things work and which don’t. Whatever seemed to be erratic or out of control takes shape. Things need to be ordered, follow the rules and routines. Focusing on the final goal is crucial to be able to focus on today’s details.

New businesses move easier. It’s important to keep a clear vision and goals as much as deadlines to achieve those goals. Now you feel better prepared to face the twists and turns of the daily battles because your mind is clear.

This is also a month where relationships strengthen or become oficial, in business and in love. Maybe you found the perfect person to be your business partner or your spouse. Whichever is the case, you must be absolutely clear about what it is that you want and what you’re looking for so you can take the next step with conviction. This month you’re looking for a connection because you’ve been alone or feeling lonely for a while. To achieve this, you must not be afraid to show your sweet and noble side. You have noticed that your strong side establishes a protective barrier that scares everyone away, specially those you’d like to keep close and have shown to be worthy of it. Obviously, this is not something you do with everybody, but you must try it with those whom you’d like to attract. Give yourself the chance. You’ll be surprised. Continue reading

New Moon in Taurus Horoscope: May 6 – 20

The New Moon always invites to let go of those things that limit you. It also invites to plant the seed of a new cycle. Like all seeds, this one has the potential of a result. Maybe a tree comes out of it, a plant, many fruits, but maybe nothing happens. To achieve what you want, you’ll have to work hard for it and provide the seed with what it needs to germinate. This lunation provides an opportunity of introspection to be sure of what you want and what you need. What do you need to love yourself more, to be self-sufficient, to feel stable and safe? This is a time to do those things that give you a sense of safety and stability, to realize how valuable you are and where your personal treasures reside. It is important to identify how are you of value for others, for a business, or a project. What do you bring to the table, what can you offer, how can you maintain it or improve it? What is important for you? Which and where are your boundaries? What are you willing to negotiate and what not? This are the questions you need to make to be sure of the chosen path, the relationships you should nurture, and the projects you’ll focus on.

Mercury Retrograde in Taurus and the Sun in Taurus support this introspection and prevent certain matters to be rushed so they are properly revised until the answers and decisions made provide a sense of certainty. Taurus likes to move slowly, but firmly. What’s important is to maintain what has been already achieved, to not lose what has been conquered. Remember always what you have, not what you lack. How? Being grateful. Gratitude makes you conscious of what you have. It’s a quality of inner stability.

Look for your sign to know which aspect of your life needs to be nurtured, maintained, and valued until May 20: Continue reading

Full Moon in Scorpio: Horoscope for April 22 – May 6

The last time there was a New Moon in Taurus was on May 17, 2015. During that time, you began to leave behind those things that made you feel comfortable and fulfilled your needs but was not taking the other into account. And since Taurus is a fixed sign — better known as stubborn — and an Earth sign, it is more difficult to let go and change. Just as the Sabian Symbol describes at the end of this post, this is a moment to live and work in community for the common good. That’s what this Full Moon in Scorpio is about and its effects last until the next Full Moon in Taurus, on May 6. With this Full Moon you realize that in order to overcome obstacles and conquer that obscure territory in front of you, you must join forces with others that have the same goal and motivations as you do. This are alliances of power, complementary relationships — one has what the other lacks — and create a powerful mechanism which is difficult to destroy. It’s crucial that you know what resources do you have and how you are of value. The same goes for the other. That way, both can unite to complete a whole that helps both to achieve a goal. These alliances can be of two or more people, of course, but they are successful only if each one knows where they shine and where they need help, when they know their strengths and weaknesses. This is an act of vulnerability and it can be scary, but it’s necessary.

This Full Moon shows which are your fears, your inner demons, your mechanisms of self-deceit. It’s a painful process because something in you must die and transform in order to be reborn: a situation, a relationship, a behavior patter, a belief. That which must die gives you a false sense of security and certainty. Now you have grown enough to shed your skin and let go that which has already served its purpose. If you don’t let it go, it becomes a burden. This is something hidden, it’s not obvious and it hides where the true power resides. Don’t be surprised to see during these days the true power struggles and power games be revealed into the public eye.

Look for your Sun sign and Ascendant sign to see which aspect of your life needs to die, transform, and be reborn until May 6: Continue reading

New Moon Horoscope: April 7-22, 2016

The New Moon, the total darkness of the night, represents all the potential of the planted seed. This is the moment to initiate new intentions and new plans. Slowly but surely it will grow. Now you’ll begin to break free those aspects of your life that came out of a difficult alliance or relationship during the last Full Moon in Libra, which was also a lunar eclipse. That moment of crisis in your relationships helped to balance the relationship you have with yourself. Now it’s time to rediscover yourself, explore new things, and rediscover your identity. Everything you begin now will reveal its results in the next Full Moon in Aries, on October 15, 2016. The Aries-Libra polarity promotes to have healthy relationships with others without losing your own identity nor your independence. Use your instinct to trace new forms of projecting yourself to others: a new image or look, something new in your life to explore, or a new potential to develop. Be careful not to be impulsive nor egocentric. Now is the time to set strong footings for yourself so you can create strong ties with others.

Look for your zodiac sign to know which aspect of your life needs more independence until April 22: Continue reading

Tarot Horoscope: March 2016

The Magician

During the month of March, use your leadership to create the reality you desire. You’ll notice that your plans and projects begin to germinate now. Take this moment to direct them towards success. This is an arcana of beginnings. Whether in love, studies, work, health or finance, the changes you experience now will open a door to something new. Of course, for this to happen, you’ll need to eliminate, conclude, or leave behind those things that prevent you from taking flight.

If you have postponed this change, this month will force you to do it. Not only there is a New Moon in Pisces on March 8, but also two eclipses: a solar eclipse in Pisces on March 9 and a lunar eclipse in Libra on March 23. Eclipses precipitate you to face a crisis in your life and make way for that change you want so much but fear as well. You’ll be obligated to confront any postponed situation regarding health, work, and partnerships. You must face fear and pain but if you know your strengths, you’ll succeed.

The arcana of The Magician shows you those innate gifts and abilities you have to face any situation and succeed. If something does not exist, you can create it like magic. Creativity and ideas are in the air. This is the moment to materialize them and shine. Take the initiative in whatever it is you want. You’ll also find creative solutions to your problems. The Magician favors commerce, negotiations, communications, travels, and curiosity during the whole month of March. Continue reading

Full Moon in Virgo: Horoscope for February 22 – March 8, 2016

The Full Moon brings to light all the things we planned, initiated, or planted during the last New Moon. Now that it enters the sign of Virgo, everything you have worked on since the last New Moon in Virgo (September 13, 2015) comes out to the light. Also, by eliminating certain behaviors, by polarity, the opposite is being developed. So when the Full Moon in Virgo ask us to “bring order to chaos”, it refers to a chaos that comes from the last New Moon in Pisces (March 20, 2015). Remember which things were out of control during those dates that provoked a crisis. And I say crisis because both March 20th and September 13 were days of eclipse and eclipses show a crisis we are experiencing. If you worked on those matters, you see the results today. If you brushed those matters under the carpet because you didn’t want to face them, you see the results today. This Virgo-Pisces polarity make us face those fears that have affected our daily life to the point of creating a disorder in our daily routines. During all this time, you restructured your life to accommodate for a new purpose — or even, your life purpose. If the form built is inadequate to contain that purpose or if the chosen purpose is unworthy of the form you built, then a crisis, abortion, or dissolution of that situation is the result during this Full Moon. Now you can see everything clearly as if seen through a microscope or a magnifying glass. Now you can smell the flower of the seed you planted.

See here how this Full Moon indicates which aspect of your life needs to be reorganized until March 8th: Continue reading

Tarot Horoscope: February 2016

The Month of Love is not here to fantasize but to manifest into reality what you want. The task will be to develop fair and reciprocal relationships by agreement. In this category are friendships, partnerships, and marriage. Partners and spouses have a legal agreement, a contract, to either begin their relationship or end it. Legal matters are important now: contracts, selling or buying, trials, etc. What’s important is to learn and master the lesson: new harmonious ways to relate. The key word of the month is NEGOTIATION.

February is an excellent month to balance health, finances, and legal issues. Now it’s the time to present proposals, write, edit, and work on research projects. Simplify and balance that which is chaotic in your life. Handle problems with direct communication and swift action using prudence and wisdom rather than pushing to make things happen or by resisting or holding back. Imbalance is created by doubting, over-extending and depleting yourself. You must leave behind the tendency to create doubt, confusion and uncertainty by over-analyzing everything. Wait for clarity before taking action. Continue reading
