World Water Day.001

World Water Day is an annual event celebrated on March 22. The day focuses attention on the importance of fresh water and advocates for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This day was first formally proposed in Agenda 21 of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro. In 1993, the first World Water Day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly and since, each year focuses on a different issue.

Approximately, 71% of the surface of the Earth is covered by water, although approximately only 2% is potable, which is why it should be preserved and protected.

In divination, water represents feelings, emotions, and the subconscious. In Tarot, the Cups, which corresponds to Hearts in playing cards, represent the element of water. In astrology, the zodiac signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces belong to the element of water. Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and their corresponding houses — fourth, eight, and twelfth house — are directly correlated to emotions and motivations below the surface of consciousness.
