That day is important to reflect upon our lessons in life, how we learn, communicate, and expand our ideas and truths, or how we have impeded them to ourselves or others.
Usually, from the point of view of Astrology, eclipses represent changes in our lives. As seen from the Earth, the Moon creates a shadow over the Sun. The Sun, which represents who we will become in the future, how we project ourselves, and how we defend our territory, is being shadowed by the Moon, our ties to the past. Note that May 20 is a day of New Moon in Taurus in conjunction with Jupiter and Mercury. Because it happens in the South Node in Taurus, we must recalibrate our values. We must leave behind our attachments to material things and to old values of narrow minds. We must accept those different people, ideas, or situations that expand our vision and our mission in life and open our minds. We must not reject change, but open the door to it for our personal growth. This change will confront resistance, typical of the fixed (or stubborn) sign of Taurus. To make up their minds goes against the vision that Taurus has about what is stable. The resistance to change is ones of its weaknesses.
That day is important to reflect upon our lessons in life, how we learn, communicate, and expand our ideas and truths, or how we have impeded them to ourselves or others. To corrupt the freewill of others or our own is against the laws of nature. We must think objectively which values or beliefs we don’t want to change and evaluate of they are preventing our progress. Let’s identify those ideas, with which we do not agree, and study them to learn more, to broaden our point of view, and understand those who believe in those ideas by wearing their shoes. Only by our own convictions, without judging ourselves or others and with humility, we are able to change our points of view. Because it is a New Moon, we must not start anything important during that day, but plan and reflect. It is a good day to meditate, to break from karmic ties and from any excessive behavior that hinders the evolution of our soul.
